The fitting process is a crucial part of our ability to help our customers find the correct type of footwear.

The fitting process has been lost by many retailers of footwear who believe that it is either easier to offer more of a self service approach to boot selection and rely on a trial and error to actually select a product. Although this sometimes works it more often than not means that some end up owning a boot that they are miserable in and are have no means with which to take them back. Our bootfitter has spend twenty years training to fit boots and mid-stance sports equipment(Ski boots). This training enables us to identify issues of poor mechanics and potential problem areas.

Our Boot Centre

Our newly built "Boot Center" is a dedicated space in the store that has been designed so that our bootfitter can perform a variety of services that relate to boot fittings. We believe that buying footwear of any type is an investment into the health of your feet and can enhance any day out. We follow a process that includes an assessment of each foots bio-mechanics, shape, size and width. Then and only then can we make more credible recommendations for footwear, socks and in many cases custom accomadative insoles(Orthotics).
